08/24/201312.34pm. CCPRS was contacted by Teresa on behalf of her boyfriend, both retired and living in Corder. Roy and Teresa have had experiences in the house, such as footstep over the past 4 years however the activity has escalated to minor things happening to unexplainable door opening at night and the box of Roy's beloved dog that sits on his coffee table has been moved from the table to the shelf by the photo of his dog. They explained that Roy had been remodeling the bathroom and moving large item around working, tools were moved and a large dolly was in the night weighing 150lbs moved from side of the kitchen to the other room when the experience of a door being opened on it own accord. The clients sent up the follow evidence they collected.
Investigation started at approximately 9:30pm, equipment and cameras set up in hot spots, the clients were interviewed on the experiences and history of house. According to clients this was a coal miners cabin possibly a foreman's home.
A Maycocks were the original owners of the house according to public records One of the daughter lived in the house when she married and remained in the house until 2008 she lived to be a 100 yrs old. Research on census records confirm a family Maycock did indeed live in this house.
